So many people have suggested what you should do
Like I said configure your netgear as a transparent bridge, connect it
to the ethernet port of your beetel modem. Then connect your PC's
ethernet to the rear of the netgear, and use your laptop's wifi card to
latch onto the netgear.
You should be connected to your local LAN and then get an IP from your
beetel modem.
