On inspection of the code, wdiff invokes vanilla diff through heavy Unix
wizardry. That probably explains why it is not trivial to port it over
to
Win32.
But the best part is that wdiff's working is rather trivial. It's pretty
easy to code it in a few lines of perl. CPAN carries pure perl
implementations of vanilla diff, which makes life simple :-)

thrice. If you harbour doubts about mails reaching the list:
[1] Visit your mail preferences page and set "Receive acknowlegement
mail when you send mail to the list?" option to yes.** You will then
receive acknowledgements and you will know for sure that your post has
reached the list.
[2] If you still have doubts, visit the archives and check if your post
is listed.
It looks like you have a new gmail account, and fyi, gmail does not seem
to bother you by sending your own posts to lists back to you. I think,
it is not possible to make changes to the filter for now at gmail.

This letter (http://www.opensource.org/docs/peru_and_ms.php ;) by Dr.
Edgar David Villenueva Nunez that the linked article links to is
absolutely fantastic. I've never read such a good argument for open
source outside of its founders. Nor have I read such a great and well
thought out letter by a modern day politician. It makes me want to
move to Peru.
I think that you all should take a moment to read through that so that
you can remind yourself that open source is the "more correct" form of
software development.
