hi,
i was trying to install anjuta s/w.
while installing it asked me for advanced versions of glibc & pkg-config. i
downloaded them and went in through the ./configure, make , & make install
commands. it went through successfully. later when i tried to install
anjuta,
it shows me the following error.

Package glib-2.0 was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `glib-2.0.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
