[Ilugc] gnometerminal tamil unicode support

In my python script set encoding as utf-8
when printed Unicode Tamil text doesn't shown well in gnome terminal.
But well shown in gedit.
I have used Tamil unicode keyboard layout in Ubuntu 12.04(up to date)
how to resolve this problem.
gnome-terminal is not showing the unicode fonts well.
install konsole by the following command.
sudo apt-get install konsole
it displays the tamil fonts well.
