Dear friends,
1)I have installed PC quest RH 7.1,by default ftp and telnet access is =
not enabled.ftp or telnet access gives a reply "connection refused".I =
could't figure out anything from /etc/ftpaccess file.How to enable this?
2)How to create large number of Linux users in a networked =
environment?What are the options?
3)I am using several m/c with AMD duron and Gigabyte mother board GA =
7VKML using chip set VIA KM 266.The graphics adapter is S3 prosavage.I =
searched extensivly and could not find any driver for the same also =
there was no response from the user groups.
VIA does not provide support for KM 266 on Linux.I have decided to =
compromise with at least some GUI using generic VGA ,but even =
configuring this is testing my endurence using Xconfigurator or =
xfconfig.
While installing RH 7.1 pc quest using graphical interface,we get a =
screen configured for generic VGA card.At least this seems to be =
okay.How to copy or get this xconfig file for latter use ?
