Try loging in to the 2 gmail accounts using two different browsers e.g
FF and Epiphany.
In my case with > 15 tabs in FF; system cpu and mem goes up. ?So I
keep some sites open on FF and some on Epiphany.
I use chrome on ubuntu and i open lots of tabs and i didnt face any
such problem. I think you might want to try out chrome to see if its
any way better Ever since i started using chrome i never thought of
using anyhting other. I am simply impressed. You may want to give it a
try . It is available as a deb file.
