[Ilugc] apt-get dist-upgrade - interuption

I am running

 $ apt-get dist-upgrade  (~250MB)

now.  I am running it through GNU screen (in case if the client get
crashed).  But what would happen if in the middle of setting up packages,
the server crashed.  What would happen to the state of debian?  Will it be
fault tolerant?
