[Ilugc] applets with gcj

Hello all,

             I use Debian sarge 3.1.For java I use gcj compilers. Now
for applet/awt programming, what tool am I supposed to use. Please
help....

Or should I download sun java for applet/awt


For viewing applets should I install any specific plugins for mozilla
web browser/ mozilla firefox
