I don't know how to enable repository server on SuSe-Linux but i
can on CentOS.
My guess is you have installed SLES (SUSE Linux Enterprise Server). In
that case zypper/yast repo would be pointing to CD's. When you run the
command 'suse_register' it points to novell's online repository. However
opensuse by default comes with the online repository.
Note: SLES is Novell's equivalent to Redhat's RHEL. openSUSE is equivalent
to CentOS. If you notice RHEL also has a rhn_register to make it point to
redhat's online repositories.
