[Ilugc] Video card problem in Debian

Well, I just got debain woody and when i tried to configure the x server,
the server crashed. My system has a nvidia geforce 2 card
you need to download the nvidia linux driver package available at nvidia.com.
executing that file should install the necessary modules for your kernel.
Then change the driver name in XF86config-4 from 'nv' to 'nvidia'.
What comes with your motherboard is not a 'proper' GeForce2 AGP card, but an
nForce 1 Northwood chip with AGP. Using 'nv' in XF86config will just crash
the system.
