You misunderstood the purpose of the reference. You said NetBSD was
alive and kicking. I pointed out that it was facing problems. The
problems that were talked about in the mailing list weren't due to
licensing but as I already indicated, you can get more information by
talking to the developers directly and get to know the impact of the
licensing in their development since there isn't any readily available
reference for that. That is what I meant by doing your own
research.
