[Ilugc] Unable to Connect Mysql

Hi,

I installed mysql in ubuntu 10.04.When i open mysql I get this error.

*ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket
'/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)*

Is this file permission problem?How to solve this?
