[Ilugc] Ubuntu SATA HDD

I tried installing xubuntu 6.10 on a SATA HDD but it said creating root
file system failed after creating linux partitions with gnuparted. Is it any
driver problem of Ubuntu with SATA ?

Can you paste the exact error message please ?
