Not listening to your advice, I tried installing eciadsl by downloading the rpm
eciadsl-usermode-0.10-1.i386.rpm (191 Kb) from
http://eciadsl.flashtux.org/download.php?lang=en
I installed the rpm and configured eciadsi for my touchtel modem
(tera-100U). when i ran the probe command, it probed the modem
succfully but when i tried to to start it, it said modem not found.
1. is this the error one would get if we try to install it with the
default kernel that we get with fedora core -2 ?
2. ignacius, can you let me know where you downloaded the kernel
upgrade from (url please).
my current system:

some kernel errors/outputs...
But, its not a problem... You can't make the eciadsl
modem driver work with the kernel that comes with
fedora core 2[ CD].
If any doubts please get clarified...
