Hi,
This is a great move.
? ?We have windows 2003 server with Active directory.We wish to replace by
using CentOS.
You can do this.
? ?Every user is having windows xp.Windows 2003 server is having folders in
the name of users.These folders mapped with users' Z drive.All datas are in
server side only.
This can be done by setting up samba server.
Five users are configures as roaming users.This is current
setup.
I think , this can be done by setting LDAP.
You can do authentication. But can not have the remote control
over the clients, setting the clients permissions etc.
