I understand your question to be something like this:
You had both Ubuntu and Windows 7 installed, and you re-installed
windows 7(in the same partition as before). You are not able to boot
into GNU/Linux.
Assuming that's what you intended to ask, please have a look at [1]
which talks about recovering Ubuntu after installing windows.
And more importantly, please give as much information as possible when
you post a question to a mailing list. If you just ask how to restore
Ubuntu after installing Windows 7, how do we know what steps you took
to install win 7. What if you had erased the whole disk and installed
it? So, please be specific with the questions. You can read up this
