Hi,
I am using Debian Lenny.I have changed my computer monitor to LCD which
support 1366x768 resolution , but even after modifying the xorg.conf I am
still unable to get that resolution. My xorg.conf is like this :
http://pastebin.com/HJC9XcX7
. But even then the maximum resolution I am getting is 1024x768.The xorg
log
says
" (II) VESA(0): Not using mode "1366x768" (no mode of this name)
(II) VESA(0): Not using built-in mode "2048x1536" (width too large for
virtual size)
(II) VESA(0): Not using built-in mode "1280x1024" (width too large for
virtual size)
(--) VESA(0): Virtual size is 1024x768 (pitch 1024)"
I also tried using nvidia driver which work perfectly fine (1366x768) but
once I log into GNOME the resolution goes down to 320x200.Even after trying
everything I am unable to solve this problem.
Do glx only support resolution in multiple of 8 ?
Is their any way I can get this problem solved ?
