Hi,
I am interested in using Linux as a server OS and run applications
apache (php, wordpress), mysql, svn.
I am a beginner in Linux. I have worked in Red Hat 8.0. I have
knowledge of basic user level commands.
I have Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E4600 @ 2.4 GHz + 2GB RAM.
Please suggest me a distro.

Go for Debian.
The GOD of Linux.
Ubuntu also fine.
Redhat and CentOS have marketed fame.
There is no big difference between the Distros to worry about the server
setup.
