Reiser4 stability (Was: Re: [Ilugc] reiserfs RHEL)

Just out of curiosity, do you find reiser4 stable?
Stable enough for me... but mine is a single-user laptop, and once in
a while (not frequent though) my comp crashes (I have no problems with
that :) ) as I use the latest in the beyond kernel patchset.... I
can't blame it on Reiser4 though... No big time corruptions till date
(I do periodically mirror to an external hdd though)... The free disk
space reported sometimes behave funnily when you have very less free
space (Dunno if this is a bug, though)... Only drawback for me is that
unionfs doesn't work with reiser4... I have to be content with a
slower unionfs-fuse...
Reiser4 is not into the main kernel line yet.

Also would GRUB complain if my /boot was reiser4?
Yes, you would need a patch to grub (unless support has recently been
added). But if you don't want to do (like me), make a small root
partition in something else (I use reiserfs) and make the other
partitions reiser4. (I don't like fragmenting my hdd so much... I end
up wasting space and doing unnecessary copying... So I have a single
partition with all the top level directories (home, opt, srv, usr,
var), mount it at something like /mnt/idata, and bind mount individual
directories to the top level directories)
