The short answer "All of the Above" (except for Check_mk -- I know
zilch about it).
It looks like you don't *know* what you want. It's like walking into
a sweet shop and asking the shop keeper "Give me some sweet"
First read up what kind of monitoring (host v/s network) *you* require
and then look for the appropriate tool. Dedicated devices like
router, switches and UPS -- you may be limited to what they export
through SNMP.
