[Ilugc] Query on CentOS

Hi,
,
I have installed CentOS 5.4v in my pc. ( Along with Windows XP - Dual Boot )
After installation i cant access internet, even an ethernet card is
available.
I dont know to do to make internet connection.(Same problem i had faced
while i installed RedHat)
Please give me suggestions to overcome this problem.

Connected the cable?
what is your IP?
can you ping the router?
setup nameserver?
