[Ilugc] Query Regarding Mail Server

I managed to install FC5(text version) on the machine and am able to
receive
mails using the mail server but i am not able to send mails. When i try
telnetting to the machine it says connection refused but when i telnet
specifically to the pop3 port it works but not for smtp. What could be

Thanks a lot for helping me with all the advice. I managed to solve that
problem also. Now the only problem is that My company gives out two types
of email ids for its employees. Some people can send mail to the external
world but some cannot. How do I write the poll line for guys who do not have
access to the outside world through their email.
