Hi all
I have made a P2P file search application in Java,
similar to Kazaa... I have added a Media Player to the
application for playing the downloaded media files..
It works very fine in Windows..
But when i try running in Linux, the application works
fine.. but the media player is not able to play
MPEG-2 files and MP3 files .. I didnt get this
problem in Windows.. The Media Player was done using
JMF(Java Media Framework) ..
Is there a way to seperately install the MPEG-2 or the
MP3 codec in Linux.. or can the problem be solved
without installing anyu codecs? ..
And by the way .. i got BSNL broadband connection..
working gr8 in Linux.. is it unlimited till July?
Regards
karthik
