Dear Friends,
I am trying to install OpenLDAP-2.2.26 on Fedora Core
2.
it terminate with the following error.
checking number of arguments of gethostbyname_r... 6
checking number of arguments of gethostbyaddr_r... 8
checking for db.h... no
configure: error: BDB/HDB: BerkeleyDB not available
I have also installed db-4.2.52.NC (BerkeleyDB) and it
is under /usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.2/
I even put an entry in /etc/ld.so.conf as
/usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.2/inclue where db.h is located
and also exported
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.2/include
but every thing was unsuccessful. again it showing the
same error as above.
If any of you faced this problem please help me.
