infact, we at ILUG - HYD was given a demo about BBC-LNX, the business
card linux and every one who attended the december, 2001 meet was
presented with a sample cd as well.
the cd is compressed and is only 48 mb or something. and it looks like a
visiting card and fits into your wallet.
check it out at

Hi,
Check out www.demolinux.org. The idea is cool. Just pop in the CD, and
boot your machine off the CD. You have linux booting up with a cool GUI
with no hassles (only a few questions reg. keyboard layout and display).
The best way to wake up those dozing off on windoze ;-)

installing oracle8i needs lots of tweaks 2 be done.
u need 2 add a line to ur /etc/sysctl.conf
u calculate "ramsize in MB * 1024 * 1024 /2 "
now add the following line to sysctl.conf
kernel.shmmax = "result_of_ur_calculation"
//it shud read something like kernel.shmmax =
and as root ,run/proc/sys/kernel/shmmax
sysctl -p
or
echo "result_of_ur_calculation" >
try running ./runInstaller
hope this works!
happy hacking
