can all send requests to Gmail guys asking them to provide an option to add
a filter that will put the quoted text on top for particular email address.
Bottom posting though is definitely better than top posting,but it is
**not** the way to go. Consider that there is a long thread going on
for weeks. if you use bottom posting of a line, then it would see as a
essay and nobody would be patient enough to read through the entire
essay to see what you are seeing. The right solution is trimmed
posting and trimmed posting is something the user has to do. No
software can guess what you are referring to before hand to trim the
post for you. If someone is not capable enough of trimmed posting
(excluding ignorant users) then he is not fit to call himself a Linux
user. As linux is all about customization and tweaking and coding
which requires some level of understanding of software workings. You
cannot blindly click something and expect it to work. Which is what
usually the case for windows users. Here it is all about editing text
files (conf files) or creating text files (code). So such a staunch
windows user does not deserve help. if he wants windows like in linux,
better dont switch to linux , instead stay where you are comfortable
(windows) and be foolish.
