I thought bonds to work for x years are not valid in India.
they aren't?
It was valid a while ago , but it is not anymore.
there are two types of bond - one, you join a company and sign a bond
saying you will work for at least three years - this was never valid
two - join a company where they quantify the training they are going
to give you and you undertake to work for X years or refund the money
spent on you - valid. They still cant make you work if you dont want
to, but they can sue you for the money spent on your training - if
they can prove they spent it. And prove they trained you.
