hi,


 try search on sourceforge or freshmeat. you can also
look for opensource database implementations as they
commonly use B trees or its variants to build an index
for effeciently searching huge databases.
  Its not too hard to code it up either if you have
the time and patience :-)

Introduction to Algorithms by Rivest,Coremen and
Stein,PHI is another book you might like to look at.
