ok imagine this... you keep "kappu" in Electronic Circuits. Like as if
doing that course for 1 semester isn't hard enough, doing it 2 times

Actually what Mr.Spolesky means about non-CS classes is things which are
writing intensive, like "anthropology" (i guess he mentions that in the
article). Unfortunately our anna university syllabus does have such stuff in
the final year (ethics). The reason its unfortunate is this, There is a lot
of interesting stuff thats actually going on in the ethics syllabus, but in
an engineering college, you can never expect a PhD with philosophy to teach
it, and we get people who were never passionate about those subjects to
teach it. Reading Imanuel Kant is worse than reading kernel source code.
