googling on google/bsd brings up results where

error is associated with a Promise IDE Controller,
which is not part of my H/W setup.
via ide controllers are a fairly generic chipset
but yes it is a buggy ide controller .. hardware
related anyway
This was supposed to be a DNS Server for my home LAN.
I guess that idea is out with the VIA IDE chipset.
I tried to mix-match IDE cables/slots but no luck.
Guess I need to maintain a teenie-weenie bit of disk
activity so that the box doesnt die down but is still
good enought to perform as a DNS Server.
