[Ilugc] Novell Linux Technical Resource Kit

Is it a commercial product??
If so, how much does it cost?
It was being given away by Novell at conferences and trade
shows for free. In July, they had an offer on their website
by which you could order it direct from Novell at no cost,
if you filled in some basic information on a web form. I did
so fairly early.
It had an overwhelming response, so those who ordered it then
are only starting to get it now (It looks like I am an early
recipient).
The first two DVDs have ISOs, but apparently cannot be
redistributed as CDs (I need to check out their policies
regarding ISOs - are downloadable SUSE ISOs redistributable?)
All the products are apparently the full commercial versions,
without support (which can be purchased for the cost of the
retail boxed sets. These prices are fairly reasonable: i.e.
SUSE 9.1 Professional is USD 99 retail, which is much less
than RedHat Enterprise Linux 3, which starts at about USD 3000
for 1 year.).
The 3rd DVD is a bootable install DVD, not a liveDVD as I
mistakenly stated. You need a DVD drive to install it, but it
seems to be the full SUSE 9.1 Pro. I'm now hunting for a spare
machine with a DVD drive to install it on.
