[Ilugc] Making autogen,configure and makefiles

Hey,
I have seen the various source packages that contains autogen,configure and
makefiles. But when i want to create it, i cant get it because every one is
having different type. Then i referred automake and autoconf packages. But
still i cant get it. Can anyone tell me regarding this please if you know.
I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "you can't get it", could you elaborate?
Setting up your project to use automake has always seemed a bit arcane to me.
