My friend is working in an Organization and is managing close to around
1000 desktops (Windows) and some 40 servers (mix of UNIX, Solaris and
Windows).
He asked me to let me know if there is any equivalent of Kaseya for
managing his desktops especially.
With Kaseya, they are performing the following things: (all the below
mentioned things are being performed by Kaseya right now)
1. Help Desk & Ticketing System
2. Remote Installations
3. Patch Management
4. Base Level Auditing of Hardware, Software, Network
5. Auto Pilot Management
6. Remote Password Reset
7. VPN Support for clients
8. Disk Utilisation of the Clients
9. Network Utilisation
All the above mentioned things, he is getting alerts through mail as well
as SMS.
He asked me if there is any software which is going to give the above
things in Open Source.
I looked at iTOP & OTRS ITSM

But not all the features are available and would like to know from others
who might be using different software which is identical or better than
Kaseya.
