Dude, get the basics. An OS exists on a separate
partition. At any instant only one OS can run on a
processor. What you do with GNU/Linux has nothing to
do with windoze.

Alternate DNS is 61.1.96.71
Set 61.1.96.71 as your ISP DNS address in
/etc/resolv.conf. No need of 192.168.1.1.
nameserver 61.1.96.71
gateway is 192.168.1.1
i am able to ping to it
I meant your DNS IP address, 61.1.96.71.
I am not able to ping yahoo.com
Change your DNS and you should be able to ping
yahoo.com.
