Hello all,
In my system i have windows-98 & Redhat-9.
from long back they r working fine.
Suddenly one day, while booting kernel it was hang-up
with some messg. as follows:

ide-floopy driver 0.99 newide
Partition Check:
hdc:<4>gdc:dma_timer_expiry:dma status==0x61
hdc: timeout waiting for DMA
hdc: timeout waiting for DMA
hdc: (__ide_dma_test_irq) called while not wating.

So we thought to install newly again Linux on
that...
but, it also comming same error messg.
we could not install newly Linux also....
we had tried all modes...
like : Linux text , Linux rescue... and so on...
but, we could not solve the problem...
If anybody know plz reply me...
