article on how to ask smart questions. Welcome to ILUGC. :-)
If you are interested in having a personal conversation with anyone,
sending it only to that person instead of sending it to the list is a
better idea.
If you want to get a GNU/Linux distribution to try out, you could try
Ubuntu/Fedora imho. You can participate in the April 2011 ILUGC
meeting and copy the distros of your choice in your USB drive or empty
CDs/DVDs from the members who have them.
