Weird you should mention it - I was just reading about this - it is

They might be able to sell this for maybe a few hundred rupees, but (quoting):

up to three programmes and three windows per programme running

PC-to-PC home networking, sharing printers across a network or more
advanced features such as the ability to establish multiple user

Is that how a modern OS should be? No networking, no multitasking
worth speaking about, no high-res displays... Three programs will
include your mail, browser and IM - that means you cannot use ANYTHING
else - even a second IM or a game or your digicam or cellphone/PDA
sync app or... What use is such a "personal" computer?
I'm curious to know whether the three-window limit applies to
MS-shipped software as well - particularly IE. I have seen people
having upto 15 IE windows open at any given time. Also, are they
removing the TCP/IP stack altogether? Hooking it up with our ISPs is
going to be fun then.
So, MS sells the OS at a loss but makes up with the
applications.
I'm not sure their antitrust settlement allows them to do that.
