Job title:* Senior Systems and Network Manager*
*Pay scale*: Rs. 50,000/- per month consolidated.
*Essential Qualifications*: Bachelors? degree in Computer Science
or a related field with minimum 5 years of experience working in industry
or a research laboratory.
*Job Description*: The candidate will be responsible for setting up and
maintaining networking and storage infrastructure. Responsibilities
include creating and managing user and group accounts with appropriate
security protocols on the central server, setting up and administration of
the storage server, setting up a dedicated internal network, managing the
video-conferencing system and interfacing it to a high-bandwidth
connection, upgrading existing email and web applications, managing the
department webpage, and setting up and managing an e-library (e-books and
e-journals).
*Desirable*: Prior experience with systems and network management. Knowledge
of database management, webpage design, networking protocols, server
configuration and management. Candidate must possess excellent
organizational and management skills and an ability to develop working
relationships with a wide range of people.
