Job: Linux device driver developer(s)
Requirements:
* Programming in C.
* ARM assembly language programming, a plus.
* Scripting languages (bash shell scripting); know-how
of Perl is useful.
* Atleast two years of work experience in Linux device
driver development for 2.4 Linux kernels.
* Knowledge of operating systems, and Linux kernel
internals.
* Knowledge of 2.6 Linux kernel, a plus.
* Experience on hardware debugging.
* Good problem-solving, troubleshooting skills.
* Know-how on participating in the free/open source
community.
* Networking domain knowledge: protocols, and Linux
network stack implementation.
AND/OR
* USB domain, and Linux USB subsystem knowledge.
This division of Flextronics Software Systems in
Chennai is an embedded/VLSI division. You will be
working in a GNU/Linux environment. You will have 24x7
Internet access. No official dress code. The positions
are based in Chennai.
