There's other stuff around too. As for places to visit I can recommend
the Chennai LUG if there's a meeting around then - or whatever hotel
you're staying in will typically have a one or two day trip around the
city they'll offer you at inflated rates (which are still cheap when you
consider that a looney's worth 37 INR)
