Mr. Suraj Kumar had initiated and was running a GLUGT mailing list for
some time around 2012. No information about him or about the mailing
list after that.

Thanks Bhaskar, this is a useful list.
I'd recommend new comers to GNU/Linux to also be subscribed to ILUGC (
http://ilugc.in ;) and/or the specific mailing lists relevant to your
areas of interest. The idea is to use this GLUGT list for local,
trichy-specific discussions (arranging meetings, announcing local
events or for sharing CDs / books / etc.,) while encouraging and
helping everyone to find relevant information online.
Of course, ILUG-C is a large list that is home to great people as well
as trolls and other time wasters... so if you have something you don't
feel comfortable in talking about on ILUG-Chennai (or had a bitter
experience in talking on ILUGC), feel free to shoot your questions on
this list. I'd personally like to see GLUGT help everyone without
being a pain.
