Hi,
I installed a new kernel 2.6.15 with ck patches and everything is working
fine until i noticed that
whenever i insert my usb drive or my external cdwriter,
its not automounted by HAL,
its getting displayed in my "My computer" but when I click it, its giving a
error message, unable to mount,
Generally it happens that , whenever a enw device is connected, it shows a
link on my desktop,
now i have to read the dmesg and mount it my self..
Can anyone tell me why its not working?
Does changing the kernel have any effect? what can i do to rectify?
