When i login through GUI in Redhat 8.0 with "root" as an id it works fine. But
if logged in as other user id, system gives an error message and doesn't allow
them to login.
If i change the "tmp" directory authorization to "777" then other users are
able to login with GUI. I don't want to give 777 authorization to "tmp"
directory. How to allow other users to login with tmp authorization as 755.
(tmp owner & group is root). Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Raja
