Hi
add-apt-repository - Adds a  PPA repository into the /etc/apt/sources.list
                                or /etc/apt/sources.list.d or removes an
existing one

Whenever the commands are specific to some distros, please explicitly
mention that so that those who don't know do not get confused.

+1 A one line blurb e.g.  "Distro: All | Debian | Ubuntu | CentOS"
would be nice.

Besides the OP gives an impression of Ubuntu (PPA) whereas the utility
is general for any Deb package repo.

Furthermore, the utility comes from Debian's upstream package
"software-properties-common" and is not specific to Ubuntu.
