Hi,
I have installed Gentoo GNU/Linux and downloaded the GNOME tarballs for
installation of GNOME 2.4
I have installed the packages in the installation order specified by the GNOME
installation manual and have run XF86Config -configure and run startx, but I
see very small fonts once I get into the Desktop. If I somehow manage to find
the logout menu, then it would display the dialog box with the options
"Logout", "Shutdown" etc. perfect.
What is going wrong here, pls suggest. Also I have installed xrender and xft.
