Hello friends,
Glad to announce that we are all set to conduct a Rails workshop on the
first weekend of August. It will be a full day event with curriculum
similar to the RailsGarden workshop (thanks Dheeraj).
The target audience is a Rails newbies. Over the past several meet-ups,
nearly 50% attendees were complete newbies, so there have been quite a few
requests for activities relevant to them. Newbie enthusiasm has been so
consistent we almost owe them a workshop like this.
Here are the some details:
Venue: Spritle Software (Thanks Balaji)
Date: 2-Aug-2014
Seats: 15-20
Laptops: please bring your own.
Registration: http://chennairb-rails-workshop.herokuapp.com
We'll need more coaches and coordinators. If you are experienced with Rails
and have the weekend free, please do join us. Just post on this thread, or
buzz Vysakh/Steve/myself anytime.
If this workshop works out well, we'll try making it a regular event. The
meet-ups will continue as usual - second/third weekend of every month.
