Agreed article isn't great piece, but the author certainly knows what he was
writing.
It's a speculative writing (the "?" in the title is a simple clue) its not a
statement nor reporting a fact. Even the question raised on open source
advocates is in those lines.
You folks need to re-visit your reading comprehension skills. Still not clear,
well last line from the article sums it all.

It was really funny to see a post defending MS in reaction to such an (silly)
article. Funny because someone can emotionally defend MS (with all those
research and forum reference) on a "Parody" kind of Article!
This shows strong beliefs can blind peoples perception!!!
