My name is Nityanand Jayaraman, and I'm an independent journalist, and
an activist associated with a voluntary collective called Collective
for Environmental, Social and Economic Justice. two key programs of
our collective include Community Environmental Monitoring and
Corporate Accountability Desk. The former is a program where we work
with pollution-impacted communities to provide solidarity through
science, law, media and strategic support. Corporate Accountability
Desk is a program to support community campaigns against corporations.
Our collective is also a long-standing member of the International
Campaign for Justice in Bhopal, and works closely with the survivors
of the 1984 Bhopal gas disaster in their struggle for justice against
