Hi,
I have installed Fedora 5 in dell inspiron 6000 laptop. Everything except
wireless internet connection is working fine.
On searching through the google, I found the link
"http://fedoranews.org/cms/node/478" and followed the procedures. But it
is not connecting. The wireless router is netgear and the laptop is the
standard one(I have not added/modified any hardware).
The wireless works fine with windows-XP. Some how i want to use linux
totally(moving out of windows). But for internet i am forced to use
ms-windows as of now.
If anyone could give me a pointer of how to configure wireless, it would
be very helpful.
NOTE:
When connecting with cable, with Fedora 5, I am able to connect to the
internet. And
FOr wireless, with the tries which I made, the Fedora 5 is identifying my
wireless network, BUT not connecting to it.
