suppose your module is hello.c. Do create a makefile as follows:
obj-m :=3D hello.o
save it and compile it as follows:
make -C /pathtolinuxkernelsource SUBDIRS=3D$PWD modules.
for more info, refer kbuild in the Documentation directory of the
Linux kernel source.

RP-PPPoE has a TCL/Tk based gui called tkpppoe, with which you can
easily configure and use. tkpppoe is usually found in the "gui" source
directory. Of course, you would run tkpppoe like this:

# wish tkpppoe

I also assigned a static IP address using the ifconfig command..
i downloaded RP-PPPoE ..
For RP-PPPoE, you don't need to assign a static IP address to the
eth interface (in fact, you should not). adsl-start will assign an
IP address to the PPPoE interface (say ppp0) when it connects.

I don't know about fedora core 2.. I've been using gentoo on an AMD64=20

Almost all the apps work perfectly fine with -march=3Dathlon64... except=
